HR Foundation Generalist

Finland is a base for global pharmaceutical production, research & development and worldwide clinical trials. In Finland, Bayer employs over 1000 people, located in Espoo and Turku.
We are now looking for an HR Foundation Generalist for a temporary position lasting until October 2026 to join our HR team. In this role, you will support Espoo and Turku organizations. Success in this role requires commitment to working onsite several days a week. This position is located in Turku Site.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Address first-hand HR inquiries through multiple channels related to onboarding, time management, benefits, absenteeism, and offboarding. Ensure compliance with policies and standards while taking ownership of the solutions provided.
- Coordinate and maintain all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including the production of employment contracts and amendments. Collaborate with payroll to maintain HR organization and master data, and update policies and guidelines as needed.
- Ensure that all HR-related information is kept up to date across relevant platforms such as MyHR/AskHR, intranet, SharePoint, and templates.
- Leverage HR data to develop insightful analyses and reports that support effective decision-making, including absenteeism reporting, and respond to ad hoc information requests.
- Support People Partners and other HR experts with administrative tasks, including letter creation and assistance on various HR issues such as employment relationships, compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, and health and well-being.
- Participate in relevant HR projects, providing proactive suggestions for innovative new ways to improve and digitalize HR services and processes. Contribute to cross-Cluster working groups in areas of interest or specialist knowledge.
- Actively participate in the Workday project, contributing to the implementation and optimization of the HR system.
WHO YOU ARE
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant field.
- You have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in HR, with a solid understanding of key HR processes and HR data systems, including their interfaces.
- You possess a strong operational knowledge of Finnish labor legislation, including employment laws, regulations, and collective agreements.
- You are fluent in Finnish and English, enabling effective communication across diverse teams.
- You demonstrate a flexible mindset and embrace agile ways of working, showcasing resilience and strong personal planning skills.
- You are committed to the continuous development and improvement of processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
- You are proficient in MS Office and other digital tools, with experience in SAP HR or Workday being a plus.
- You are a strong communicator who is result-driven, detail-oriented, and structured, with excellent customer focus skills.
- You are a true team player who values collaboration, efficiency, and flexibility.
