You role scope will be
You will manage sales and marketing promotional activities for designated key customers in Lithuania, focusing on achieving yearly growth and EBIT targets while contributing to the Baltics regional performance as a vital member of the Nordic Sales & Marketing team.
Your role involves partnering with key customers to drive value through category development and effective activation plans. You introduce new product launches and enhance brand visibility, consistently outpacing growth in the Pharmacy/OTC market and relevant categories by leveraging data analytics, market performance, and consumer insights. Additionally, you will provide quantified data to support key customers’ investments and analyze competitors' sales performance, responding swiftly to market trends and suggesting strategic adjustments.
Key Working Relations
As a Key Account Manager, you will serve as a vital link between external customers/partners and the Marketing and Trade teams. Joining the Nordic Consumer Health sales team, you will operate daily in a multi-functional, multi-country environment. Your primary internal stakeholders will include local Brand & Shopper Activation/Trade Managers, Nordic Brand Leads, and Lithuanian Customer Engagement Specialists, while collaborating closely with your Supply Chain Planner and Business Controller for operational management.
Key responsibilities
- Continuously achieve the agreed local and regional net sales and EBIT targets for the Lithuanian customers, contributing to the success of the Baltics region.
- Perform top-class Key Account Management for the appointed customers in Lithuania, providing them with excellent service and customer focus.
- Develop, strengthen, and maintain first-class professional relationships. Ensure that customers see Bayer as an important business partner and have a strong interest in growing our portfolio with them.
- Conduct yearly negotiations with local customers, including commercial terms, activation plans, product listings, and category projects.
- Together with the Finland and Baltics Sales Lead, contribute to building effective and innovative short- and long-term business plans.
- Create effective Trade Marketing and activation plans and ensure that these are implemented and executed throughout the year.
- Deliver Forecasting Accuracy (FCA) targets for Lithuania, contributing to the targets of the Baltics region.
- Contribute to the Group strategy through knowledge of local market trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Manage the Trade Promo Budget and ensure that investments align with ROI targets.
- Implement Bayer brands' marketing strategies related to HCPs by planning and organizing HCP events and cooperating with KOLs.
Skills & Qualifications (education, skills, experience):
- University degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a Key Account Management (KAM), marketing, or trade marketing role within the FMCG and/or OTC industry.
- In-depth knowledge of modern trade and multi-channel experience.
- Preferably, experience in the Lithuanian pharmaceutical market, along with insights into OTC market development and success factors.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Advanced negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Dynamic, results-oriented individual with a hands-on approach.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, and changing environment.
- Personable, energetic, responsive, confident, and honest, with the ability to manage complex situations.
- Fluent in English and Lithuanian.
- Valid driver's license (Category B).
