YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive effective customer-centric decision-making and provide end-to-end oversight of supply status in the market while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance. Act as a key interface between customers and internal functions to deliver superior service and operational excellence across eight diverse markets with varying routes-to-market (RTM) and commercial terms.
Strategy & cross‑functional leadership — Co‑create and own local supply‑chain strategy and the S&OP process, partnering closely with Commercial, Finance, Product Supply, Regulatory and Quality to set inventory targets, service levels, and local work orders; align logistical and financial plans (including Financial Reconciliation Reviews) and handle regulatory notifications for current or potential stock issues.
Inventory availability & execution — Ensure stock availability by working with supply planning and production to proactively monitor inventory, mitigate stock‑out risks (including tenders and clinical trials), follow up on production, and manage cost‑conscious actions such as write‑offs and obsolescence reduction.
Product lifecycle & portfolio management — Lead lifecycle decisions (launches, SKU switches, discontinuations, pruning, divestments) with Global Supply Management and Commercial to minimize obsolescence and write‑offs while ensuring supply continuity.
Demand, forecasting & insights — Drive high‑quality, reliable forecasting by integrating customer/brand market insights and external data sources to reduce bias and uncertainty and feed improved demand signals into S&OP.
Customer segmentation & value co‑creation — Localize customer segmentation schemes and service catalogues; engage strategic customers and Commercial/Customer leads to co‑create value, channel customer feedback and Joint Value Creation into Product Supply, and jointly manage strategic accounts.
Operational trade‑offs & fulfilment decisions — Make allocation and logistics trade‑offs to meet agreed service levels, coordinating with Commercial and Customer Fulfilment and communicating impacts and mitigations to stakeholders.
Performance measurement, reporting & escalation — Define and communicate success criteria (e.g., customer satisfaction, incremental revenue), regularly track KPIs, provide demand/supply performance reports and commentary, ensure follow‑up on actions, and trigger mitigation or escalation when thresholds are breached.
Continuous opportunity discovery — Actively pursue external data points and market signals to identify added‑value opportunities and improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
