OE Specialist 2
We are now seeking an energetic and innovative OE Specialist 2 (VS 2) to join our team in production site in Turku. As a member of the local Site Leadership Team, you will drive a culture of ownership and accountability through Bayer’s VACC leadership principles: Visionary, Architect, Catalyst and Coach implementing our Product Supply System (PSS) as a key enabler for operational excellence across all sites.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Cultural Development: Drive transformation projects, promote best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leading PSS Pillar: Support breaking silo thinking and removing roadblocks, while defining the capabilities needed to achieve short-term, mid-term, and long-term outcomes.
• Creating Standardized Processes: Collaborate with capability clusters and product teams to tailor PSS standards to meet operational needs.
• Driving Transparency and Improvement: Work with stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions that enhance efficiency and customer value.
• Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate knowledge exchange and maintain centralized knowledge-sharing platforms within the OE community.
• Training and Workshops: Co-create and facilitate relevant training, supporting talent development and gathering feedback to improve training effectiveness.
• Collaboration: You will work closely with local Site Leadership Team, Value Stream Leads (VSL), OE Cluster and other capability clusters (as needed).
WHO YOU ARE
• Educational Background: A university degree, preferably a Master’s in engineering, science, pharmacy, or a relevant field, demonstrating a strong foundation in technical and analytical skills.
• Relevant Experience: Significant experience in supporting production/operations, operational excellence, and/or technical functions within large organizations. Proven ability to navigate complex operational environments and implement effective solutions.
• Lean Experience: Demonstrated experience in Lean methodologies, including but not limited to value stream mapping, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction techniques. Ability to apply Lean principles to drive operational efficiencies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Leadership Skills: The ability to explain and embody Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach leadership behaviors, fostering an environment of collaboration and empowerment among team members.
• Self-Awareness: Authentic self-awareness, with a proactive approach to seeking and providing constructive feedback, enabling continuous personal and team development.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities and business acumen, with a strategic mindset to analyze data and drive decision-making processes that align with organizational goals.
• Communication Proficiency: Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English, capable of connecting with diverse individuals and actively listening to their needs, ensuring clarity and understanding in all interactions.
• Strategic Initiative Management: A proven track record in driving and coordinating strategic initiatives and resource allocation across diverse geographical locations, demonstrating adaptability and effectiveness in various cultural contexts.
